What is Transpersonal Psychology

The Transpersonal Psychology studies the different levels of conscience and their relationships with the reality perception, faiths, values, action, disease and the people's health. In that process, it evidences an early phase of the human evolution, subsequent to the instinctive, emotional and mental. Based in 1986 by Abraham Maslow, James Fadiman, S. Grof, Victor Frankl and Antony Sutich, propitiates, simultaneously, a new perspective due to the science and of the religion.

It sees the man as a bio-psico-social and cosmic being, reestablishing the possibility to live the fundamental unit, man-cosmos. He/she includes the aspects of the psychic development established already by the classic psychology, enlarging them. He/she works with the human being, in a wide way, allowing his/her full integration and constant evolution and transformation.

Acting with the Transpersonal Psychology the professional counts with the knowledge and the learning of the concepts of Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology, besides the contact with the several dimensions of the human conscience and their applications in the psychology.
